A real leather boot in dusty tan, cut mid calf. The upper is thick enough that the shaft stands up on its own instead of folding over by December. It creases where your foot bends and keeps that shape, so the pair ends up fitting you specifically. The zip runs the full height of the side with a pull tab at the top, so you step in and pull once without sitting down. Low stacked heel, rounded toe with room across the front, and a pale sole that keeps the whole thing from reading heavy.

Real leather, not a coating that peels – The leather 1,2mm thick. It does not flake off after one wet season the way a bonded or coated upper does. It creases instead of cracking.

Thick enough to hold its shape – Thin hides feel nice in the box, then the shaft collapses. This is cut from a heavier hide, so the boot stands up on its own in year three.

True to size, with room across the front – Order the size you normally wear. The toe is cut round with extra width, so your toes sit flat by late afternoon. A thicker sock does not mean going up a size.

Mid calf, cut wider through the shaft – The shaft ends just below the widest part of your calf, the point where a boot stays put instead of sliding down. Cut wider than most, so the zip closes without a fight.

Low stacked heel, Thick sole – The heel is 2 inches on a wide base, set under your foot rather than behind it. Your weight stays over the middle of the sole through a long afternoon.
